Saudi Announces Seasonal Jobs For Hajj Season
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has launched the “Ajeer Al-Hajj” service for this year to enable owners of establishments to employ workers on seasonal contracts for the Hajj season.
The ministry called on Saudis and residents interested in working at the holy sites during the Hajj season to upload their CVs through the “Ajeer” platform, which caters to both job seekers and employers, and which organises work and facilitates procedures for establishments and workers during Hajj seasons.
This initiative is part of the ministry’s plan to improve the level of services provided to pilgrims and enable them to enjoy their experience during the blessed season.
Based on it, the ministry obliges establishments to issue a Hajj permit to individuals working seasonally, while emphasising that violators will be subject to the penalties stipulated in the law.
“Ajeer” aims to enhance the flexibility and overall effectiveness of the workforce within the market and reduce dependence on external recruitment.
