UAE reports 1,928 new Covid-19 cases and 1,719 recoveries
The Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 1,928 COVID-19 after conducting 193,896 additional tests over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 485,675.
The ministry said that 2 virus-infected patients had passed away, raising the overall death toll to 1,533 since the outbreak of the pandemic in the UAE.
It announced that 1,719 infected people had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 470,175.
No information was provided on the ages of those who died or if they suffered any existing conditions.
