Kuwait witnesses two consecutive days of rain

On Sunday, Kuwait’s saw scattered showers and gloomy weather.

The highest recorded temperature on Sunday was 25 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 16 degrees Celsius, according to the Kuwait Meteorological Department.

Scattered showers were spotted across the country, with times of sunshine, including during sunset. At around 2am on Monday, it was recorded that there was 6.7 mm of rainfall.

The Ministry of Public Works began taking precautionary measures by putting up a number of pumps and dirt mounds in preparation for the rainy season.
