UAE Residence Visa Applicants Can Submit Health Insurance Online: Reports
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) has announced that UAE residency visa applicants can electronically upload their health insurance documents, according to local reports.
This move will come into effect on Monday, February 19, the reports said, which cited Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, the Director-General of the ICP.
Under the new system, accredited health insurance companies in the UAE will electronically provide the necessary health insurance data directly to the ICP, eliminating the need for applicants to download and submit their health insurance policies manually.
