Man and Woman Face Trial In Bahrain Over Jewellery Heist

The Public Prosecution of the Capital Governorate has completed its investigation into the theft of gold jewelry from a shop in Manama Market and has referred the two suspects to trial.

The suspects, an Arab man and a European woman are currently in detention pending their trial. The duo was arrested three days ago after the Nuaim Police Station received a complaint from the shop, reporting stolen jewelry valued at approximately BD2,125.

The police swiftly initiated an investigation upon receiving the report, which included a review of security camera footage and conducting thorough searches. According to a statement issued by the Public Prosecution, the duo were charged with aggravated theft.
