Address Boulevard Dubai: The Perfect Balance for a Business or Holiday Stay

Recently, I was on a business trip in Dubai and decided life was far too short not to have a little fun. I extended my stay for the weekend with 2 nights at Address Boulevard and was blown away from the start.

Address Boulevard is conveniently located just 15 minutes from Dubai International Airport and even offers an airport VIP welcome on arrival and private limousine transfers if you’d like to make a grand entrance. The prime location puts you in the heart of Downtown Dubai, and I couldn’t help but notice the splendid panorama of views of Burj Khalifa. In fact, there was plenty about this hotel, which aptly serves business and holiday travellers, that made me glad I extended my stay.

Excellence in Service

Right from the start of my check-in, the service was top-tier. It was in the evening, and I’ll admit, I was in a rush to get checked in, eat dinner, shower, change my attire, and get back out quickly to meet friends in DIFC later. Pamela at the front concierge station was an absolute superstar, a Kenyan national with a friendly demeanour who sped up the process. She escorted me to my room and then to The Restaurant.

The Restaurant

Yes, literally, the on-site restaurant on the 3^rd floor is called The Restaurant. While that lack of creativity may give you pause, I can assure you that both the food and service in this establishment were excellent. The theme is incredibly welcoming and spans an outdoor terrace and other rooms that evoke the vibe of a familiar apartment with touches of pure sophistication.

I started with the scallops and enjoyed the splendour of dining on my own. My main course was a perfectly cooked steak tenderloin that I savoured with every bite as I gazed out at the views over Downtown Dubai. It was a wonderful way to end my busy week.

The Location

Address Boulevard truly has one of the best locations in Dubai. It has a direct connection to Dubai Mall’s fashion avenue and instant access to all the high-end shopping spots. This mall has it all including the Dubai Ice Rink, the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, and of course, some of the best shopping and dining anywhere in the world. If I’d had more time, perhaps I’d have gone to the Dubai Opera, also just footsteps away from the hotel.

The Amenities

While I wanted to get out and about, I didn’t want to miss my chance to fully enjoy the offerings at Address Boulevard. This hotel features 3 pools, and the main one overlooks the city, providing some of the most incredible views. Despite the heat, I made the most of this serene spot, indulging in the refreshing water while sipping on fruity, refreshing and ice-cold beverages (much needed in the 45-degree heat!).

You’ll also find a family pool with a waterfall, and there is a spa pool intended for spa guests. You can schedule spa treatments to unwind, keep fit in the fitness centre that isn’t dull and dreary like most hotel gyms, or get out and explore. Travellers with children will also love the kids’ club which ensures younger guests enjoy their stay.

The Rooms

My room was on one of the top floors and pure luxury. The balcony gave me the perfect perch for starting my day with my morning coffee while watching the bustling city below. The beds in this hotel are so comfortable that I slept very well on both nights. I know this for a fact because I track my sleep on my Apple watch – over 1.5 hours deep sleep and 2 hours of REM sleep each night is good going by my records!

The upscale toiletries, elegant décor, and tasteful luxurious touches will not go unnoticed. I also found the room automation a great way to put everything at my fingertips.

In the morning, a delicious breakfast offering had me completely satisfied. There was a vast array of items through a buffet and live stations. Everything was kept very fresh too and allowed me to create my perfect morning meal.

Overall, this hotel is an amazing hybrid of business hotel and vacation hotel. In a place like Dubai with so many choices, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better city hotel than this one. It truly ticks all the boxes for a spectacular stay.
