Kuwait: Electricity Cut to 415 Properties in Clampdown on Expat Bachelor Residences
The Municipality has compiled an in-depth report outlining the accomplishments of the committee tasked with monitoring singles’ housing in private and family residential housing areas from January 1 to June 30.
The Municipality monitored a total of 415 properties across all governorates during this period, resulting in the disconnection of electricity.
Eng. Al-Dabbous detailed the review of the mechanism used to cut off electricity to properties occupied by single individuals in private and model housing areas, along with the obstacles faced by the municipal executive body in carrying out its tasks related to this matter.
Eng. Al-Dabbous highlighted that the committee received a total of 580 reports and complaints from all governorates, underlining the widespread impact and concerns related to bachelors’ housing.
