The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested 15 people for committing 18 counts of theft in oil concession areas.
A statement issued online by ROP said: “The Oil and Gas Facilities Security Police Command, in cooperation with the General Department of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations, arrested 15 people for committing 18 crimes of stealing pipes, wires and electrical cables from the sites of several companies in the oil concession areas. The legal procedures are being completed against them.”
